Mark Campbell

Professional Career

Prior to joining the team, Mark was a tax partner at Ernst & Young and before that with Arthur Anderson & Co. Beginning his career in Chicago, he worked in London and most recently in New York.

From 1992 to 2006, Mark was based in Tokyo where he built the leading and fastest growing “transfer pricing” team. His strategy was to build a motivated, cohesive, bi-cultural team and then grow Japan market share as rapidly as possible. His clients included a broad range of international high tech companies where he consulted on numerous business issues such as market entry strategies, intangible valuations, real estate, and international supply chains.

At Actium, he has been initially focused on developing our second real estate fund and developing innovative R&D financing strategies for life science companies.

For several years, Mark was named by International Tax Review as one of the “World’s Leading Tax Advisors” and one of “World’s Leading Transfer Pricing Advisors”.

Education and Affiliations

He has a BA from Yale University, an MBA from the University of Chicago, as well as a CPA from the State of Illinois.
